First Birthdays must be celebrated for so many reasons.
The first year of your child, the most important thing in the new parents life; one year of unmeasureable love, the big challenge, the first year of the most incredible experience in your life and it's the first year of parent's cuttest baby in the world ..... Ethan's first year.
It's immeasurable the effort parents put in to celebrate their child's birthday and they do so with so much happiness and joy. And it was no different for Ethan's birthday. His Safari party was so beautiful.
His parents organized a lovely barbecue with their family and close friends. All Ethan's friends were there too.
The first years birthday party is a gift for the child. These memories that were captured in photos, will tell him in years time, how it was, how much care was involved, how much he is loved, how much fun they had, memories with daddy and mummy, grandpa, grandma, cousins, aunts, ancles, friends, neighboors, photos of his first home, first toys ... first memories.
I'm just thinking about my own first birthday. I am so glad my mum celebrated every year our birthday until we, my sisters and I, were 7 years old. She put so much effort to prepare so much food, cake and I can remember that table so full of delicous appetizers and all my friends, neighboors and family. Those photos might be the only photos I have with my grandparents and with some childhood friends. I love them.
Celebrate it, celebrate life, whatever way you can. A small gathering at home all homemade or a big party or a trip, it does not matter, what matter is being with family, and friends enjoying it.
